Here are two sets of "Joyce" directions:

From the Clark Avenue exit off Highway 50 - take Clark Avenue South to Fairmount (three blocks). Turn right on Fairmount. Stay right at the "Y". The next street is Chestnut. Turn left on Chestnut (just as you enter the Lincoln University campus area) down the hill and left into the park.

If you are coming from North of the Missouri River bridge, take the McCarty Street exit. Then turn left on McCarty Street and follow through to Lafayette. Turn right on Lafayette. (Lafayette turns into Leslie Blvd as the road curves left just past the Jefferson City High School - on your right - and the Lincoln University football field - on your left). There is a 3 way stop when the road turns to Leslie. From Leslie you will turn left onto Chestnut. (first left after the three way stop). Proceed to the park entrance on your right - directly across from the LU stadium.

Rules and Suggestions for the day:

Some tables and chairs are there.
I would bring a chair for comfort or blanket for the outdoor venue.
We did, when renting the park, pay extra to allow alcoholic beverages.
MO Blues is not selling any form of alcohol, but you can BYOB and cooler.
Please NO glass containers.
Pets are welcome in the outdoor venue.
Must observe leash law. Bring your scooper.
